A very good starting point before you place your house on the market is getting an idea of the value of your home. In the industry we call it a CMA, a competitive market analysis. Comparing your home to homes that have recently sold in your neighbourhood. Looking at their value to get a feel for yours. Of course your house will sell for whatever someone is prepared to pay for it but this exercise can give you the confidence you might need to get the ball rolling and there’s no charge or obligations associated with it.

If you've ever had to buy or sell a house, I think you will agree it can be one of the most stressful things you can do in life!

We put an offer on our "dream" property, we didnt even have our own house on the market and we needed to sell in order to get finance. We only had 10 days, and others also had their eyes on our dream property, as you can imagine stress levels were high!
